Terms and Conditions for Custom Orders

Custom Manufacturing:
Custom manufactured items are those products made to customer specifications which involve printing or manufacturing unique sizes or configurations and require additional lead times.  

Custom Proof Policy:
ZPC policy is to provide a proof for any newly printed or custom designed product to ensure proper manufacturing and customer satisfaction. Proof time requires approximately 2 business days. Manufacturing lead time does not begin until the signed and approved proof is received by ZPC from the customer. First time revisions are done at no cost, any revisions after that will be billed to the customer.  

Pre-Production Policy:
When a pre-production sample is required, ZPC will provide a physical pre-production sample . The pre-production sample is a constructed mock-up made by hand and typically requires approximately 5 business days to prepare. The customer will then review and approve if the sample meets construction requirements. Once the approved sample is received by ZPC, lead time will begin.  

Artwork/Typesetting and Composition Changes:
ZPC will typically provide a one time composition as part of your order. All product proofs which require a logo must have logo provided from the customers marketing department as a PC disk (TIF, EPS, JPG, or BMP format) or as camera ready art (8½ x 11 paper only) with the logo being the same size or larger than the logo to be reproduced. When supplying artwork on disk or as camera ready art, include all logo standards, such as font name(s), PMS colors and other pertinent information. If artwork is not submitted, or is not “easily” reproduced, a per hour fee of $48.00 will be charged to the customers account. The customer will be billed at the hourly rate of $48.00 for any revisions or changes that require further proofing due to customer preferences or revisions.

One Time Design and Layout Fee:
Plate composition is an additional fee charged for a first time print job or changes to previous copy. The plates remain the property of Zack Products Corporation and will not be supplied to the customer. All plates which remain inactive for two or more years may be discarded. In cases in which the plate has been discarded due to inactivity, a new design and layout fee will be assessed to the customer.

Manufacturing Variances:
Custom manufactured items are subject to a +/-10% quantity variance from the original order quantity. Exact quantity runs will incur an additional fee of 15% of the total order cost. Custom manufactured merchandise is not subject to return.

Custom Product Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation after production, including artwork production, begins will result in a fee for all costs incurred.

Custom Product Lead Times:
Quoted ship dates for Custom products have estimated lead times based on production cycles. If an expedited delivery date is required, please request and submit an expedited order request form. ZPC will do everything we can to approve an expedited order request. If an order is expedited, additional costs will be incurred by the customer. By maintaining scheduled production cycles, ZPC is able to provide quality products at the best prices. Lead times have a tendency to change from the time a product is quoted and the time the customer places the order.
